West Midlands Leadership Board
West Midlands Leadership Board
Purpose
Each of Business in the Community’s (BITC) regions are led by a team of senior executives who provide strategic guidance and support us in achieving our agreed objectives.
By joining a regional leadership board, senior professionals can influence the local debate, shape the agenda for action and work with other leaders to identify the unique ways in which business can help innovate and create more sustainable livelihoods and prosperous communities across the region.
The role of members of a regional leadership board is to:
- act as a ‘critical friend’ and sounding board to the Business in the Community (BITC) team
- act as an ambassador for BITC, encouraging membership recruitment and engagement, championing responsible business in the region
- facilitate activity on the ground both within their own organisation and their broader network.
