Join us to discuss how businesses’ actions can improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities across communities.

This is an in-person event.

Audience

Open to BITC member and non-member businesses. Relevant for businesses of all sizes. Most suited to business leaders with a responsibility for community impact and/or employee relations.

Background

Business in the Community’s (BITC) South East Leadership Board brings together senior business leaders to help shape the region’s priorities and provide strategic direction. Operating within BITC’s wider ambition to create healthier, more inclusive communities, the Board plays an important role in highlighting key social and economic challenges facing the South East. A growing area of focus is the need to address widening health inequalities, recognising the impact they have on individuals, businesses and the overall prosperity of the region.

About this event

This event will bring together businesses of all sizes from across the South East to explore new health inequality insights provided by the Department of Health and Social Care, and what they mean for our region’s health and prosperity. Building on this evidence, we will focus on how businesses can work collaboratively to champion high impact actions that tackle the causes of poor health and narrow the gap between communities.
