Peer Learning Forum: Climate Action: Telling the positive story

Thu, 26 March @ 10:00 – 11:00

This is an online event taking place on Microsoft Teams
Audience
Business in the Community (BITC) members with advisory, as well as non-members who have an advisory package with us. Hosted by our issue experts, there are 20 forums a year, covering a range of responsible business areas and enabling our members to discuss challenges, solutions and ideas.
About the event
2025 was a turbulent time for sustainability – political discourse on net zero has started to fracture, the costs of climate mitigation continue to rise, and it is looking certain that we will overshoot our global goal to keep temperature rises to 1.5C.
Alongside this, businesses who have made quick progress with decarbonisation of their Scope 1 and 2 emissions are now faced with the more stubborn challenge of their supply chain impacts.
So, how do businesses move from “greenhushing” to championing net zero? How can we celebrate success whilst being honest about the challenges? How do we manage uncertainty?
