Join us at this forum to learn about the latest updates to the SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard – and what they mean for your organisation.

This is an online event.

Audience

Business in the Community (BITC) members who have advisory in their membership package. Our Peer Learning Forums (PLF) are now open to all members who have advisory in their membership package – hosted by our issue experts, there are 20 forums a year, covering a range of responsible business areas and enabling our members to discuss challenges, solutions and ideas.

About the event

Join us for our latest Peer Learning Forum where we will be hearing directly from SBTi on the latest updates to the Corporate Net-Zero Standard – and what they mean for your organisation’s climate strategy. We are delighted to be joined by SBTi’s European Lead who will talk us through their evolving position on Scope 3 targets, carbon removals, and offsetting claims, break down key changes and provide practical insights for sustainability leads, ESG managers, and strategy teams.

Whether your company already has approved science-based targets, is planning to submit in 2025, or simply wishes to align their net zero approach to the SBTi methodology, this is your chance to stay ahead of the curve and ask questions directly to SBTi.

This event is part of a two-part series, with the preceding Peer Learning Forum taking place on 8 May, ‘Carbon Reduction or a Just Transition’.

Guest speakers

  • Kim Schoppink, European Lead, Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTI)
