About This event

Join Business in the Community for State of the Nation, a senior leadership event bringing together influential business leaders to explore the challenges facing the UK and the role business can play in driving practical, collaborative change.

The event will explore the pressures and opportunities facing business and society, and be a platform for BITC’s new CEO Ndidi Okezie to outline how BITC will work in future to respond to those challenges and drive change.

Hosted by Schroders and supported by Hogan Lovells, the evening will share insights from BITC’s State of the Nation report and consider what those findings mean for the future of responsible business. State of the Nation will explore the pressures and opportunities facing business and society, and how BITC’s new strategy responds to the need for focused, collaborative action.

The evening will examine:

  • What business leaders are telling us about the challenges facing the UK;
  • What those insights mean for the future of responsible business;
  • How BITC’s new strategy will focus action where business can make the greatest difference; and
  • The role senior leaders can play in building a fairer, greener and more resilient UK.

Alongside the presentation of the report findings, we will hear reflections from leading business voices on what the findings mean in practice and where collective action is now most needed.
