About the event

Join Business in the Community (BITC) and Leeds Building Society for an engaging and interactive session exploring the latest insights from the 2026 Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality.

Hosted at Leeds Building Society’s Head Office, this event will provide an opportunity to hear the key findings from this year’s assessment, including where employers are making the greatest progress on gender equality and the challenges that remain in creating truly inclusive workplaces.

As a recognised Times Top 50 “One to Watch” organisation in 2026, Leeds Building Society will share its experience of the assessment process and highlight the initiatives and approaches that are helping to embed an inclusive workplace culture.

The session will also include facilitated discussion with peers from across Yorkshire, focusing on the practical actions organisations can take to support gender inclusion, including:

  • Developing effective Gender Pay Gap action plans
  • Supporting colleagues through menopause
  • Embedding gender equity across policies, practices and leadership

Whether you’re working in HR, EDI, wellbeing, people management or organisational development, this session will offer valuable insights, practical ideas and opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals.
