Nature and Resilience Insights

This briefing summarises the recommended actions for businesses for robust nature and biodiversity strategies following the three-part Nature and Resilience Insights Series held in 2025. The Insights Series was convened by Business in the Community with over 80 attendees and speakers from BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Strutt and Parker, OVO, Standard Life and United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP–WCMC).

You will learn more about relevant United Kingdom (UK) environmental regulations, the progress that has already been made alongside what more can be done across leadership endorsement, social value, carbon and nature nexus, and supply chain collaboration; the briefing also includes a case study from Standard Life on how they used the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework in their organisation.

This briefing is suitable for teams embedding nature and biodiversity strategies in businesses, from specific sustainability teams, procurement, and/or finance and risk management.
