Nature and Resilience Insight Series
In spring 2025, Business in the Community ran the Nature and Resilience Insight Series to help businesses consider their impact and dependencies on nature and the risks of the changing climate across their value chain. Across our series of interactive webinars, participants were supported to understand the holistic benefits associated with nature and biodiversity, connections with social value obligations, and began to set targets and commitments through creating action plans.
Why we started the Nature and Resilience Insight series
Programmes Outputs
This series hosted five workshops with expert speakers, along with action learning sets for peer-to-peer support and online drop-in sessions. In these sessions, intimate groups of organisations engaged in a community of practice, feeding into a Nature and Resilience Lab Blueprint for the wider business community.
Programmes Outcomes
Through the programme, organisations developed and implemented their own nature and resilience plans, aware of the climate risks and how to mitigate against them in a way that is fair and inclusive for people and nature.
