Accelerating Responsible Business in Wales: Impact Report

This report provides an overview of the impact Business in the Community Cymru has had on Responsible Business practices across Wales between 2021-2023.

Business in the Community (BITC) Cymru works to grow and advocate for Responsible Business practices across Wales, uniting members and networks from the private, public, and voluntary sectors to drive transformative change for communities, colleagues, and our climate.

This new, Accelerating Resonsible Business in Wales: Impact Report 2021-2023, developed in partnership with Llwyodraeth Cymru/Welsh Government, provides an overview of the impact made across Wales in recent years. It shows how BITC Cymru combines nationwide initiatives, brings the best of Welsh and UK business to support Wales’ communities, and works strategically in key towns, cities, and regions to alleviate local needs.

It also demonstrates how the care, compassion, and action of thousands of skilled professionals and businesses has helped many people, communities, and charities to navigate the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing cost-of-living crisis.

A core part of the work of BITC Cymru and Llwyodraeth Cymru/Welsh Government has been to raise the profile of the Welsh Government’s Fair Work initiative, part of a wide-ranging drive to help businesses in Wales be fairer employers and support the wellbeing and prosperity of Wales’ population.

BITC Cymru is delighted to share a series of case studies from five members in Wales who are making a difference in this way:
