Neurodiversity in the workplace
of disabled people are employed, in contrast to 82% of non-disabled people. If this figure includes forms of neurodiversity such as autism, then employment rates drop further to 22%.1
of neurodivergent workers in a survey of 127 UK feared discrimination after disclosing and felt that management did not have sufficient knowledge of neurodiversity to support them.2
of employers surveyed found the lack of disclosure among workers difficult to manage but also reported that they had little confidence in providing reasonable adjustments for their workforce.3
The Growing Importance of Neurodiversity in the UK Workforce
It is currently estimated that 15% of the UK population are neurodivergent.4 Neurodivergent people bring significant value to organisations and benefit from neuro-inclusive practices which enable them to deliver their best work and have a positive experience of work in return.

Our advisers provide comprehensive support to organisations in becoming Disability Confident by offering tailored services such as employee wellbeing and inclusion surveys, listening circles for feedback on wellbeing interventions, and further training on neurodiversity and disability.
