Engage in a solution-based discussion surrounding the six catalysts of responsible business enabling you to take action now.

This is an online event.

Audience

This event is open to both members and non-members of Business in the Community (BITC) and has been designed for Heads of CSR/Responsible business/ ESG.

Background

Not enough progress has been made towards achieving the Global Goals, also known as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. For these goals to be met, businesses must play their role.

BITC works to accelerate responsible business action to address these goals. Our research into the most significant barriers and drivers of responsible business action has helped us identify six catalysts of responsible business, actions that will accelerate, scale up and perpetuate sustainable, inclusive and fair corporate strategies.

About the event

During this session, we will focus on how businesses can accelerate impact and purpose by externally positioning their organisation as a responsible business, including through transparent reporting, advocacy and peer collaboration.

The breakout discussions will explore the following:

  • Why external positioning can be a crucial enabler of impact.
  • What best practice on this topic is, and avoiding accusations of purpose-washing.
  • How responsible businesses aligned their own impact, brand and purpose.

Regardless of where your business is on its responsible journey, this session will help you understand the best techniques to evoke change within your organisation through connecting with peers, sharing experiences, and learning from our specialists at BITC. To get the most out of this session, we encourage you to come ready to turn that microphone on and engage.
