Barry Greenslade has spent his whole career in banking, joining HSBC as a graduate in 2003. He has undertaken many roles, primarily in commercial banking but extending to retail banking and equipment finance.
In his current role as Risk Management Director for UK Small Business Banking, Barry leads a specialised risk team that provides dedicated support to our frontline colleagues and a nationwide portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses.
Throughout his career, Barry has demonstrated a passion for entrepreneurship, people and risk management. He believes such passion and the remit of his current role aligns with the vision and purpose of Business in the Community’s (BITC) Small Business Taskforce.
Barry is an alumnus of Southampton University where he studied business management and finance. He is married with two young children and is a FA (Football Association) qualified youth football coach.
