Join us to explore emerging expectations around menopause support at work and what future legislation may mean for employer practice.

This is an online event taking place on Microsoft Teams

Audience

We are pleased to welcome Business in the Community (BITC) members, as well as non-members who have an advisory package with us. Hosted by our issue experts, there are 20 forums a year, covering a range of responsible business areas and enabling our members to discuss challenges, solutions and ideas.

This event will be of particular value to HR, wellbeing, and EDI lead developing menopause strategies or reviewing their current provision.

About the event

Menopause is increasingly recognised as a workplace wellbeing, inclusion, and retention issue. Alongside cultural change, proposed developments within the UK Employment Rights landscape are prompting organisations to consider more structured menopause action planning.

In this forum, we will:

  • explore what meaningful menopause support looks like in practice
  • reflect on policy, leadership capability, and workplace adjustments
  • consider how organisations can move from awareness to sustainable change

Join peers to share insights, challenges, and practical next steps.

Background

BITC’s gender equality and wellbeing agendas highlight menopause as a critical factor in women’s economic participation and career progression. Supporting employers to take informed, compassionate, and practical action forms part of BITC’s wider commitment to inclusive and healthy work.
