Greg Harris is a consultant at Jacobs currently seconded as Enterprise Resource Lead at Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 (TEAM2100). This is a partnership between the Environment Agency, Jacobs, Balfour Beatty and other partners refurbishing and replacing tidal flood defences in London and the Thames Estuary.
Prior to this, he oversaw Jacobs school refurbishment programme, assisting the Department for Education with its ambitious programme of school modernisation at scale.
Before joining Jacobs, Greg worked in the voluntary sector. He managed a London based homelessness charity that trained and mentored vulnerable people, providing a pathway into hospitality. In addition, to organising a marathon in West Africa to raise money for school building projects across Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Beginning his career as a military engineer working in warzones and other remote corners of the world, he continues to pursue opportunities to assist in solving societal problems with unique and innovative solutions. He hopes the Untapped Talent taskforce will be similarly ambitious!
