Stuart Beaver is Head of Social Action at Aviva. His background is in social action, communications and people change. He has significant leadership experience in the private sector, including senior roles at KPMG, Lloyds Banking Group and Aviva. Stuart is also an Associate Director at Trust Impact, a growing data and impact consultancy, working with both charities and commercial organisations, to help them better understand, measure and maximise social impact.
Stuart is experienced at working with executive teams and boards to help shape organisational purpose, social action and change, and has led a diverse range of impact focused partnerships with charities, funders and NGOs.
He is passionate about social inclusion and tackling disadvantage. He was previously a trustee with Youth Sport Direct and recently completed nine successful years as a Trustee at Street League, a national employability charity. Having spent most of his life living and working in the west country, Stuart is really excited to be joining BITC’s South West Regional Leadership Board. In his spare time, Stuart describes himself as an absolute ‘sports nut’ – playing and watching as much as he can get away with!
