Discuss the impacts of menstruation and menopause in the workplace. Sharing ideas on how organisations can be inclusive of their employees.

This event is open to all Business in the Community (BITC) members.

About the event

Join us for an inclusive in person gathering, where you can openly share experiences and explore best practices concerning menstruation and menopause in the workplace. This event focuses on the unique aspects of menstruation and menopause, fostering an environment of support and empowerment.

We aspire to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to champion women’s health matters in your workplace.

This event is gender inclusive and we invite those of all genders to attend, whether or not you experience menstruation and/or menopause. We can all benefit from understanding how to best support our colleagues’ physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace.

Agenda

  • 9:30 AM – register from this time.
  • 10:00 – introduction to the day from BITC.
  • 10:15- introduction to menstruation and menopause in the workplace.
  • 10:30 – guest speaker – Lina Chan, (Holland & Barrett Director of Women’s Health and CEO, Founder at Parla) with Q&A.
  • 10:55 – break.
  • 11:10 – Panel discussion and Q&A.
  • 11:45 – break.
  • 11:55 – introduction to breakouts.
  • 12:00 – breakout conversations.
  • 12:30 – report back.
  • 12:45 – reflections and close from BITC.
  • 1:00 PM – session will end, attendees are invited to stay on for tea, coffee, and networking.
