Background

The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality is the UK’s most highly profiled and well-established listing of employers taking action to create more gender-equal workplaces.

Since 2011, the flagship award has aimed to recognise and celebrate the organisations who are embedding gender equality at all levels of their organisation and are proactively committed to dismantling barriers to progression to ensure all genders can thrive.

Despite the challenging external landscape, findings from The Times Top 50 insights report and this event illuminates best practice from applicants that are continuing to drive positive change. Areas for improvement will also be uncovered, inspiring and informing further actions.

BITC’s Gender Equality Campaign exists to maintain momentum and accelerate progress towards gender equity, future-proofing workplaces where inclusion and truly equal opportunity is no longer the exception but the rule.
