  • Diversity

Organisations that can attract a diverse mix of skilled employees and manage and motivate them, is increasingly recognised as a key factor in business excellence. BITC has two diversity campaigns that offer support and advice to companies - Opportunity Now, focused on gender diversity and Race for Opportunity focused on racial diversity.

  • Employee Volunteering

Employee volunteering has a number of benefits for employees, your business and for your local communities. We ask our members to make employee volunteering the cultural norm and we can help your employees to volunteer through our programmes including Give & Gain Day our international national day of employee volunteering.

  • Health and Wellbeing

Sickness absence costs UK employers £8.4 billion a year. But the cost of presenteeism – employees working when they’re ill or not fully engaged – is nearly twice as high at over £15 billion per year. That's why BITC's Workwell campaign is working with UK businesses to create the most engaged workforce in the world

  • Talent and Skills

Low skills cost the UK economy billions of pounds each year and threaten our ability to compete globally. Business Action on Skills provides support and guidance to employers wishing to transform their business and their communities around them through focusing on learning and skills development in the workplace.
