Ben Gaunt joined bp as Senior Vice President of Talent in August 2020. In this role he is responsible for the end-to-end talent agenda across the company.
Ben leads the teams focusing on talent acquisition and activation, future skills and learning, leadership development, talent management and bp’s external education initiatives. He believes that diversity, equity and inclusion should be deeply wired into everything the organisation does and this is embedded into the teams that he leads.
Ben joined bp from Accenture Strategy, where he was a partner in their Talent and Organisation practice. He is deeply experienced in talent strategy, organisational design, change management and digital transformation.
Ben is excited about the once in a generation opportunity to reimagine energy for our people and planet, and the work of the employment and skills leadership team in this area.
In his spare time Ben can be found (re)building Lego with his son.
