As Market Senior Partner in Manchester Adam Waller leads a team of circa 1,350 professionals in delivering on PwC’s purpose to build trust in society and solve important problems for both clients and communities.
Adam has been a tax partner for approximately 12 years, with over 25 years experience of advising individuals on both business and personal tax matters. He joined Arthur Andersen in the early 1990s as one of the first graduate personal tax specialists, later broadening to advise on all tax aspects relating to entrepreneurs with substantial wealth, their families and related business interests.
Adam is a Chartered Tax Adviser, with an MBA from Manchester Business School. In 2019 he was named as one eprivateclient 50 Most Influential which includes tax advisers, lawyers, trustees and financial professionals from the UK and Channel Islands. Currently he leads the private client business in the North West advising clients across the UK and overseas.
He sits on the Policy Group Committee for private client matters and is responsible for commenting on new legislation and consultation documents with HMRC. This included leading PwC’s comments on the consultation process before the introduction of the new Statutory Residence Test.
