Alexius Young is the Responsible Business Advisor at Veolia, who is a provider of water, waste, and energy management solutions, that contribute to the sustainable development of communities and industries. As part of this role, Alexius drives and contributes to the Multifaceted Performance which is the sustainable framework within Veolia.
Through a pivotal strategic lens, she manages and creates internal and external projects with key stakeholders that align with Veolia’s purpose of Ecological Transformation, including managing charity partnerships, delivering social value reporting, and managing volunteering within Veolia.
Prior to joining Veolia in 2022, Alexius spent several years in Canada leading and delivering sustainable projects and solutions at both the municipal and corporate levels to over 25,000 businesses. Alexius has joined the Business in the Community (BITC) West Midlands Leadership board as it aligns directly with her personal and professional goals and objectives.
Alexius studied both Molecular Biology & Genetics, as well as Corporate Environmental Management in Canada and the UK at the University of Guelph (Canada) & the University of Surrey (UK).
