Erem Kassim-Lakha is a Partner at McKinsey & Company. She is a seasoned transformation leader who has spent the past 20 years in senior executive roles, both as global managing director and global head of strategy in organisations across a wide range of sectors including consumer, retail, apparel, luxury, arts and culture, and hospitality.
Erem’s strength lies in working with CEOs to encourage and deliver ambitious growth plans in close collaboration with executive leadership teams. Erem’s experience includes being the Global Managing Director of a leading art-and-luxury auction company responsible for growth into private sales and online channels, pioneering expansion into Asia, leading professionalisation of art sourcing and selling practices. She has considerable experience in other operating roles, as well as in private equity.
Erem has served as Non-executive Director on boards of start-up companies in the healthy eating, hospitality, and social impact sectors. She is a board member of TeenTech, a charity promoting the understanding of opportunities in technology, science and engineering among youth. She is also on the advisory board for a sports, arts, and cultural talent organisation targeting youth, which is part of the Aga Khan Foundation.
