Jo Clough drives the design and implementation of ESG (environmental, social and governance) strategy within the commercial division of Lloyds Banking Group, focusing on the small- and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid corporate business, which serves commercial clients with £3 to £100 million turnover. She focuses primarily on the regional regeneration of the Northern English regions, exploring the support that Lloyds Bank can provide in line with the government’s levelling up agenda.
Jo has 19 years banking experience working with SMEs across a variety of sectors including healthcare, education, manufacturing and real estate. She is passionate about supporting businesses in Northern England to increase their productivity and embrace new technologies and skills, which has driven her involvement in the Business in the Community (BITC) Small Business Taskforce.
She lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with her husband Neil and their two children.
