Kevin Rodgers was appointed Chief Executive at Citizen Housing in May 2015. Prior to that he was the Group’s Deputy Chief Executive and Group Finance Director having previously worked as a consultant at PWC.
Citizen Housing owns and manages 30,000 homes for diverse communities across the West Midlands, from urban tower blocks to rural villages and towns with an annual turnover of over £200m and a substantial programme for the development of new homes. Prior to amalgamation in April 2019 Citizen was known as WM Housing Group with subsidiaries: Whitefriars, Optima Community Association, Family HA (Birmingham) and West Mercia Homes.
In September 2016 Kevin was elected as the Chair of the West Midlands Housing Association Partnership which was created to provide a single voice for housing associations to engage and support the West Midlands Combined Authority (“WMCA”) in delivering on an ambitious change programme for housing. He is also a member of the Coventry One Partnership Board and actively involved with the work of the National Housing Federation.
