Marc Pawson is the Regional Director for Hydrock in Scotland, which he joined in 2020. Marc has a passion for engineering, communities and leadership. Graduating with a degree in Fire Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, Marc has pursued a career in engineering to help deliver safe buildings and structures across the world from port and harbours in Jazan, Saudi Arabia to stadium and sports venues in Lima, Peru.

As part of his remit, Marc’s focus is to help deliver innovative engineering solutions across the new and existing built environment, particularly around energy performance, asset optimisation and long-term climate adaptation and resilience.
Marc is also passionate about pushing opportunities for learning and growth, volunteering in a number of community sectors to provide coaching, mental wellbeing, and skills development.
