Gareth Wood is VP of Operations at OVO, the UK’s third largest energy supplier. He joined in January 2020 and is responsible for transforming service to support OVO’s customers on the journey towards zero carbon living. He has extensive experience in the energy industry, and joined OVO from SSE where he held a number of senior roles including Customer Service Director.
Gareth is passionate about service and inclusivity; he is responsible for OVO’s customer vulnerability strategy and delivering a fully inclusive service to everyone. He is also committed to building a work environment where everybody belongs, and he sponsors OVO’s Faith and Belief network to actively promote diversity and inclusivity at OVO.
