Gemma Lacey is a senior leader with over 20 years of experience in sustainability and has a passion for championing responsible business. Gemma leads sustainability for the Southern Co-op, a regional independent co-op, which runs over 300 community food stores, funeral homes, and coffee shops across southern England and has driven the development of their climate ambition and pathway for delivery.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, she is also responsible for the Communications, Brand, Press, and Customer Engagement functions. Prior to this, Gemma led sustainability for leading organisations, including John Lewis Partnership, KPMG, and The Body Shop.

Additionally, supporting those most disadvantaged and vulnerable in society, and using the crisis as a catalyst to make the UK fairer and greener together.
This taskforce of diverse leaders will shape the outputs for the campaign and innovate together to drive action across business at pace and scale.
