Hannah Winter is a passionate advocate of responsible business. With experience spanning business process outsourcing across multiple sectors and charity, she is using that knowledge to bring to life responsible business in Capita. After spending many years focused on the social strand of environmental, social and governance (ESG), in areas such as early careers and supporting people some distance from employment, Hannah moved into responsible business. There she developed solutions for key ESG programmes including equality, diversity and inclusion, widening employment opportunities, climate change action and digital inclusion.
Working with Business in the Community (BITC) and chairing the Education Taskforce, is hugely important to her for providing a forum for knowledge exchange with people from business and education. She wants to see them coming together to build positive links into education and better outcomes for young people.
Delivering employability skills to young homeless people many years ago, and watching as they grew in confidence and self-worth and finding employment and friends, has developed into a passion and values that have driven Hannah’s career.
