Jonathan Carberry joined Aldermore in March 2021 and is a passionate contributor to its organisational purpose of ‘backing more people to go for it, in life and business.’ An experienced Human Resources Leader with a demonstrated history of working at a strategic level in the areas of People Development & Talent Management. He is deeply invested in the principle of equitable career opportunities and places this as a central focus in the management and implementation of colleague development. He is an advocate and student in learning theory with a passion for the continuous growth of individuals, teams and organisational culture. He holds membership with The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, as well as being a multi-disciplinary psychometric practitioner & certified coach. Jonny’s leadership has seen Aldermore recognised as finalists in both the 2023 Social Mobility Awards and Corporate Engagement Awards.

Jonny holds 20 years’ experience working within Financial Services and throughout his roles in risk, retail banking, regulated advice and HR, has demonstrated a consistent appetite to breaking down socio-economic barriers and promoting positive social change.

Business in the Community’s (BITC) Cost-of-Living Taskforce brings together a group of the most influential and passionate senior executives, committed to delivering the vision that the UK business community demonstrates a world-leading response to the cost-of-living crisis. Additionally, supporting those most disadvantaged and vulnerable in society and using the crisis as a catalyst to make the UK fairer and greener together.

This taskforce of diverse leaders will shape the outputs for the campaign and innovate together to drive action across business at pace and scale.
